2010 is going to be a big year for us. (all release dates subject to change) We have “partyboobytrap – Entrapment” dropping January 8th, and “Ambivillains – Intergalactic Transfer Students” dropping January 22nd.
“Entrapment” is going to be the sophomore album from “partyboobytrap”. It is truly a mature, dense and developed sound that represents them, and the way they felt while making the album.
“Intergalactic Transfer Students” is a space odyssey concept album start to finish that Virtue and Papa Bakes will perform live for the first week of February. (www.intergalactictransferstudents.com)
Shortly after we will be releasing the debut from the newest addition to our Family, “Time Crisis”, which will be sure to keep you company.
So, in order to be prepared for the upcoming year, we must understand the past.
This is why we’re doing something different to end 2009.
I don’t remember a time in my life when I wasn’t making music. Back in 2004, at 14, I released my first record along with producer Aptitude under the group name, “Prosthetik Senses”. Believe it or not, this record – which was pressed – had more press than anything I have done to this date thanks to distribution via www.phonographique.com. In a very small way, it was here where the idea of ‘Fameless’ was first spawned.

Tonight’s weekly, December 31st, the last day of 2009, will be the song “Fameless” that Virtue & Aptitude released in 2004 (on Virtue’s first album) as “Prosthetik Senses”
Aptitude is an incredibly gifted musician, and a member of the classic Calgary collective, “Jonny Sootentai”.
Don’t laugh too hard, and please, enjoy.
